Speaking to journalists in Owerri on Thursday, Adamu stated that appointing core Igbos as Special Advisers on Eastern Affairs to the Government of the 19 Northern States will strengthen inter-state businesses and ensure Nigeria’s unity, peace, and progress.

In the recently concluded general elections, the Kebbi State-born All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council Chairman of the South East Hausa Community, lauded Uzodimma for providing adequate security, a conducive atmosphere, and a level playing field for their various businesses.

“APC won with a landslip in Imo because of Governor Uzodimma’s tremendous achievements,” he said. The resounding victory demonstrated Uzodimma’s good governance.

“And I am using this medium to urge Muslims in Imo State to use Ramadan to pray for a peaceful Imo gubernatorial election on November 11, 2023, and for Uzodimma’s re-election.”

“I am grateful to Governor Uzodimma for the opportunity to serve my people.” I will make certain that all northerners in the 19 northern Nigerian states feel the effects of Uzodimma’s good governance. “I will also make certain that northern governors appoint Igbo Affairs Aides to work with us to address our business challenges,” he promised.

He congratulated the newly elected President-elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his Vice, Kashim Shettima, as well as the APC’s elected Governors, Senators, House of Representatives, and State Houses of Assembly members, particularly the 27 Imo House of Assembly members-elect.

“Take a look at the roads between Owerri and Orlu, Owerri and Okigwe, and Owerri and Umuahia.” Imo State now has a well-developed road network. “I am confident that Uzodimma will complete her eight years in office,” he added.
