Tina Turner, the iconic singer, died without seeing her grandchildren or great-grandchildren, it has been learned.
Tina Turner died this week at the age of 83, prompting tributes from the entertainment world and fans all across the world.
While the singer’s two biological sons, Craig Turner and Ronnie Turner, died tragically before her death, her two adoptive sons, Ike Turner Jr. and Michael Turner, are still alive.

According to a new Page Six article, she also leaves behind two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, the most of whom she never got to meet before she died.
Turner has two biological sons: Craig, who was adopted by Ike Turner and assumed his surname, and Ronnie. She also adopted two of Ike’s boys from his first marriage, Ike Jr. and Michael.
Twanna Turner, Tina’s first husband’s daughter, stated, “It’s time to mend… The family wants and needs to recover because they have been through so much and continue to go through so much.
“These two powerhouses were such a unique entity — there will never be another Ike and Tina.”
Tina spent the last few decades of her life in Switzerland with her second husband, Erwin Bach, at Villa Algonquin, a $76 million estate.
Tina was 18 when she had her first son, Craig, with Raymond Hill, a member of Ike Turner’s backup band.
She then married Ike, who adopted Craig, and the pair had a son named Ronnie.
She later adopted Ike Jr. and Michael, the children of Ike’s former wife Lorraine Taylor.
The famously rocky marriage of Ike and Tina terminated in divorce in 1978.
She scarcely knew her son Ronnie’s children, Raquel and Randy, and she never met Raquel’s two little sons, Tyson and Tyrese.
