American rapper Soulja Boy has threatened Nigerian megastar Wizkid with violence on Twitter after he was mocked by some Wizkid fans.
Soulja Boy came to his Twitter account to declare his intentions to damage Wizkid after he was ridiculed by certain sections of Wizkid’s fan base.
A Twitter user with the handle @Cruisewithmee pointed out that Wizkid will be headlining the Rolling Loud event in Germany with Soulja Boy performing as one of the supporting performers 10 years after labelling the American rapper’s music rubbish.
Soulja replied by citing the post and called Wizkid a p**sy before threatening to beat up Wizkid and any fan who dares to criticize him.
The rapper then went on to threaten Wizkid in another tweet where he declared that he was done tweeting and he intended to murder the Afrobeats megastar.
In a moment of fury, Soulja Boy also asked that Rolling Loud pull him off the event in Germany in what was an evident unwillingness to be in Wizkid’s shadow.
The controversy between Wizkid and Soulja Boy began in 2022 when some fans dug up a tweet from Wizkid in 2010 when he termed Soula Boy’s music wack.
Although the statement was made 12 years ago when Wizkid was just 20 and Soulja Boy was also 20, the description didn’t sit well with the Americans who responded violently on Twitter.
Soulja Boy’s warning has garnered condemnation from fans on Twitter who called it irresponsible and dangerous, particularly considering Wizkid will be visiting the US in the coming months.
