Shakira was seen crying at the airport as she said goodbye to her friends and family before departing Barcelona for good, following her split from Gerard Pique.

The Colombian singer, 46, is relocating to Miami after allegedly receiving a “eviction notice” from Gerard Pique’s father, Joan Pique.
According to the Spanish press, on March 13, the singer received an email from Pique’s father demanding that she leave the former couple’s home by April 30 or pay compensation.
The house, where Shakira famously installed a witch on the balcony in an apparent dig at Pique’s mother, who lives next door, is said to have been owned by the former couple before Joan Pique became the sole shareholder after his son’s divorce from the singer.
Pique, 35, is now dating Clara Chia Marti, 24.
Shakira, dressed in double-denim and looking tearful in the airport, hugged her friends and family before boarding her private jet.

The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer was accompanied by her two sons Milan, 10, and Sasha, 8, who are expected to start school in the United States on April 11.
Shakira announced her departure on Twitter on Sunday, April 2, saying: “I moved to Barcelona to give my children stability, which we are now seeking in another part of the world near family, friends, and the sea.
“Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in our quest for happiness.
“Thank you to everyone who supported me, dried my tears, inspired me, and helped me grow.”
“Many thanks to my Spanish fans for their love and loyalty over the years.”
“But things are not always how we dreamed them,” she added as she shared a photo of a plane wing as she left the Catalan capital.
“Sometimes we run but never arrive.”
“Never doubt that I’ll be there.”
