Gordon Thornton claims he provided his separated wife Mia Thornton a “hall pass” to “satisfy” her desires by sleeping with younger guys.
The 71-year-old admits that he “knows there’s going to come a time” when he won’t be able to keep his 38-year-old ex-wife happy in the bedroom, which is why he gave the Real Housewives of Potomac star permission to cheat.
Gordon recently told TMZ, “I know there’s going to come a time when I probably won’t be able to satisfy all of her needs.”
He claims to have said to Mia, “I want you to know that I am okay with you finding what you need elsewhere.”
But, in order for things to work, he imposed “two rules”: “don’t give me a reason to leave.”
However, things did not work out, and she divorced him.

Gordon went on to say: “What really aggravates me through all of this, is that I’d given her permission, and yet she still chooses to sneak around, chooses to lie, chooses to continually change her story about what’s going on and why she’s leaving me.”
After 11 years together and the births of son Jeremiah, eight, and daughter Juliana, six, the couple called it quits in September 2023. Mia also has a son from a previous relationship, Joshua.
