Mr Oyeyemi claimed Portable had been warned to report himself to the police or risk being arrested.
He also stated that Portable’s father had appealed on his son’s behalf and offered to bring him to the police.

Portable stated that an online fraudster had led the police to his establishment to arrest him and his crew members “for no reason”.
But, the Ogun state police spokesman, Oyeyemi, revealed that the police decided to arrest Portable after five invitations were issued to him and another to his father, but he never honoured any of the summonses
He also stated the Zazu crooner was called after a petition by a young studio owner who alleged that Portable coupled with his henchmen beat him to oblivion and closed his studio.
Oyeyemi stated, “On receiving the petition, an invitation letter was given to him five times but he refused to attetheahe the police station. Again, an invitation letter was issued to him via his father; he still did not arrive at the station.
“The police did not want a breakdown of law and order t, therefore, his arrest was to be accomplished on Tuesday and suddenly he began with allergies to films, shouting all kinds of things. His father has been pleading but we have informed him that if he (Portable) refuses to give himself up between today and Friday, he will be arrested.”
Meanwhile, It was said that in 2022, Portable’s father had taken him to the Police Headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, after the musician failed to accept poa lice invitation for the legendary assault of a disc jockey in the Sango region of the state.
