Falz, in an Instagram video posted on Sunday, urged Nigerians not to make excuses for not voting.
He believes that it is time for young people to make decisions about their future.
“Oya election don come oooo, this is my PVC, I’m sure you have yours and you’re ready to vote,” he said. I don’t want to hear any of that nonsense about my vote not being counted, so what’s the point of voting?
“Oh God, please don’t irritate me; this is 2023, with everything we’re going through, and if there are still some people saying that, I honestly don’t know what’s wrong with them.”
Falz, who urged Nigerians to vote against bad leadership, noted that the Labour Party movement has grown in a short period of time to become a formidable third force.
“Forget about all the pessimists and cynics who are approaching you, all those irresponsible people who appear to enjoy suffering and want to maintain the status quo, forget about those people and just focus on the goal,” he said.
He went on to say that the goal for 2023 is for the people to decide who rules them.
