Nick Cannon has expressed regret over not having children with Christina Milian during their brief relationship.
The Masked Singer host and actor dated the 41-year-old singer-and-actress for two years after meeting on the set of the 2003 film Love Don’t Cost a Thing, and he admitted they discussed having a family but it never happened.
In an interview with the Shade Room that was posted on YouTube, the performer stated, ‘If I say this, I know it’s going to go viral.’
‘But when Christina Milian and I were doing Love Don’t Cost a Thing, I remember finding out she was pregnant [years later]…’ he continued. “Dang, man,” I thought to myself.
The 42-year-old media personality went on to say that he still supported his ex-partner and her family.
‘But I was overjoyed for her. We [were] kids in love at the time, and we talked about it. But each to his own. Life has a plan. ‘The universe gives it to you the way it’s supposed to be given,’ he explained.
Father of 12 children. Nick Cannon has stated that he regrets not having a child with Christina Milian during their brief romance.
Christina previously recalled discovering Nick’s infidelity by hacking into his phone and being horrified by what she discovered.
‘The next thing you know, I was reading [everything],’ she told E! News in 2019. I was reading messages for about a month.
‘It was surreal that it was happening,’ she said. He was staying at my house… “Wait, this is happening under my roof?” I thought. It just completely blew me away.’
The Falling Inn Love actress, who has Violet, 12, with ex-husband The Dream, Isaiah, three, and 23-month-old Kenna with boyfriend Matt Pokora, was filming in Romania at the time and couldn’t confront Nick about what she’d discovered.
‘I was like,’ she said “I can’t catch him while I’m away. I need to bust him in person, so in the meantime, I’m going to get my intel and double-check that this is for real “‘
‘And it was for real, so it was enough,’ Milian added. I wanted to see him in person, go over it — not that it would change anything — but part of me was thinking, “He was my first love.”
Cannon eventually moved on with a number of other women, including Mariah Carey, and he is now the proud father of 12 children with various women.
