A shocking video shows a mother encouraging her daughter to steal from a woman’s handbag during Mass in a Honduran church.

On Sunday, Oct. 1, surveillance film shows a toddler leaning over the front seat and grabbing what looks to be a mobile from the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church in Tegucigalpa’s capital city.
The mother and the girl are sitting on a bench just behind their intended target at the start of the video.
When it was time to stand, the daughter approached her mother, who motioned for her to reach into the purse of the woman in the row in front of them.
The girl gripped her mother’s hand and leaned her hands on the bench as the wife and other churchgoers listened to the priest’s sermon.
At one point, she took advantage of the woman praying and reached over the bench to retrieve something from the bag.
The child then handed it to her mother before fleeing the church, leaving their unwitting victim standing and staring at the priest.
The video infuriated many individuals, who criticised it.
Officials have initiated an inquiry, according to the Honduran newspaper Tiempo, but no arrests have been made as of Wednesday, Oct. 4.
