Miley Cyrus is living her best life since leaving her ‘toxic marriage’ with Liam Hemsworth, which left her ‘heartbroken.’
The American singer has released two chart-topping singles from her new album Flowers and Muddy Feet, as well as celebrated the release of her new album Endless Summer Vacation.
According to People, she is the happiest she has been in a long time.
‘She’s the healthiest and happiest she’s been in a long time,’ according to the magazine.
‘Everyone blamed her for the divorce and referred to her as this wild child, but that wasn’t fair. Their marriage and relationship were toxic, and she was heartbroken.’
However, with her new album, the singer, 30, is finally ready to ‘tell her side of the story’ after ‘having had time to process and heal’ following her divorce from Liam Hemsworth, 33, in 2020.
‘She’s not trying to discredit Liam, but she feels like she has every right to own the narrative after everyone was picking on her after the breakup,” the outlet reported.
The former couple met while filming The Last Song in 2009. They had an on-again, off-again relationship for years before getting married in December 2018.
They divorced in February 2020 after splitting in August 2019, and fans now believe the lyrics to Flowers and Muddy Feet are about her marriage.
‘I built a house and watched it fall down,’ she sings in Flowers.
And now, her new single Muddy Feet has sparked a social media backlash against her Australian ex, with fans speculating that the lyrics are about the actor cheating on her.
The Party in the U.S.A. singer collaborated with Sia on the song which includes the lyrics: ‘And you smell like perfume that I didn’t purchase.
‘I see why you’ve been drawing the curtains. ‘Get the f**k out of here.’ I’m not sure. Who do you think you’re messing with?’
