Last season, the seven-time world champion struggled to compete with Max Verstappen, and his problems appeared to have carried over into this season, raising concerns about his future with Mercedes, with boss Toto Wolff expressing concerns about the 2023 Mercedes car and Hamilton’s future.
While his future at Mercedes is uncertain, Hamilton has assured fans that he intends to fight on and that they should as well.
On Instagram, the Formula One legend wrote:
‘Sometimes I want to give up. When I begin to feel this way, I dig deep and remind myself that I am on a mission.
‘Whether you realize it or not, you, too, are on a mission. We’re all looking for something.
‘Some dream or goal that will make us better people, more fulfilled in our lives, and proud of ourselves.
‘It may seem impossible to get there some days, but it isn’t. We’ll get it. We will obtain it.
‘I know you’re with me; I feel the love and support and know I’m returning it tenfold. ‘We’ve got this.’
