A French man has been accused of dr*gging his wife and filming at least 83 ‘aggressors’ raping her over the course of ten years.
The man, ‘Dominique P,’ is reported to have found his wife’s attackers on an online forum called ‘Without Her Knowing,’ where users describe executing sex acts on unaware partners and saving proof on a USB drive in a file named ‘ABUSES.
According to Mail Online, 51 males, aged 26 to 73, have been discovered and charged with raping his wife of 50 years, alias Françoise, with investigators discovering 92 cases between 2011 and 2020.
The husband is accused of seducing his wife with Lorazepam and slipping it into her food before inviting men to have sex with her while she was asleep at their home in Mazan, near Avignon.
Dominique was arrested in 2020 for photographing up the skirts of customers in a supermarket in nearby Carpentras, and a search of his Provence house turned up camera equipment and ‘dozens of movies’ of his wife’s abuse.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Dominique organised his wife’s maltreatment while she was sleeping on an internet forum called ‘à son insu’ (‘without him/her knowing’).
Investigators have found 92 rape instances involving Françoise, compiling a list of 83 ‘aggressors’ – but have yet to identify all of the alleged assailants.
A firefighter, a municipal councillor, a prison guard, a nurse, and a journalist are among those charged.
In 2021, it was reported that 33 people had been imprisoned, with nine more under arrest.
At the time, Louis-Alain Lemaire, a lawyer representing several of the accused, stated that some thought the wife was’simulating’ being unconscious as part of a sex game.
The suspects must have known the victim was drugged, according to detectives, because the husband claims to have briefed them before each instance of assault.
The alleged assaults took place between 2011 and 2020, according to the prosecution, and Dominique argues that none of the attackers ‘gave up going through with sexual actions on his wife given her situation’.
They claim Dominique ‘never used violence or threats’ to guarantee the rapes took place, adding that ‘each individual was in possession of his free choice to terminate these actions and leave.’
Some of the rapists are said to have visited the house several times. Many claim they had no idea Françoise had not consented to the interactions.
‘Guests’ were apparently requested to park far away from the house and to refrain from bringing strong odours into the house, such as smoke or perfume, which could rouse her.
One, denying rape, allegedly stated, ‘It’s his wife, he does whatever he wants with her.’
The tapes were discovered by police during a preliminary inquiry against Dominique in 2020, after he was accused of deploying a hidden camera to film women changing in a supermarket.
A trial is scheduled to begin next year.
