According to FIFA, England captain Harry Kane chose PSG’s Lionel Messi as the best men’s player for 2022, while Argentina captain Lionel Messi chose Brazilian forward Neymar.
Also, Brazil’s captain, Thiago Silva, voted for PSG’s Neymar to win the FIFA men’s best player award for 2022, while Egypt’s captain voted for Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior.
On Monday evening in Paris, Messi eventually won the men’s prize for the second time in his career.
Messi was chosen over teammate Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.
