The actor was scheduled to appear before a judge today, but the hearing has been canceled.
A preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled, but it is expected to occur by the end of April.
According to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com, Baldwin’s attorneys check the ‘not guilty’ box when asked how he intends to plead.
He was facing five years in prison on a gun enhancement, but that was dropped.
The actor now faces up to 18 months in prison. Baldwin is not allowed to drink alcohol or possess firearms under the terms imposed by a judge.
His travel is not restricted, but he must maintain contact with his attorney.
Baldwin accidentally shot and killed Hutchins in October 2021 while filming Rust on the outskirts of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The film will resume production in Montana in the spring, with principal photography taking place at the Yellowstone Film Ranch. Baldwin will continue to play the lead and will also serve as a producer.
He has always claimed that he did not pull the trigger and that the gun fired on its own. He maintains that it was the armorer’s responsibility to ensure the gun was secure before handing it over to him.
However, prosecutors in New Mexico and the FBI claim that the gun could not have fired without him pulling the trigger.
He was seen pulling the trigger on the same gun in previous rehearsals and practices, according to witnesses.
Baldwin has already agreed to settle a civil lawsuit filed by Halyna’s widower, Matthew. Her family in Ukraine has also filed a separate lawsuit against him.
