After the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and members of the Obidient movement were defeated in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Okoye of P-Square music band sent a message to them, gistpeople reports
Mr. Okoye, in a message shared via his Twitter handle on Wednesday evening, urged supporters to remain calm and allow for peace.
According to the results read out by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, on Wednesday morning, Obi came in third place.

Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC received 8,794,726 votes, defeating his closest rivals and PDP candidates Atiku Abubakar and Obi, who received 6,984, 520 and 6,101,533 votes, respectively.

There are rumors of a massive protest planned across the country in response to the results released by INEC, which many voters believe differ from what happened at polling stations across the country on Saturday.

There is also dissatisfaction with INEC’s failure to use the BVAS and transmit polling unit results to its portal.
