Issa Diop, a Premier League footballer, has reportedly been arrested in France for making multiple murder threats to his former partner.
According to provincial news outlet La Depeche du Midi, the Fulham defender, 26, is currently in police detention in Toulouse.
According to the report, he was apprehended on Sunday evening about 8 p.m. at the Pullman Hotel in Toulouse.
According to French media, Diop and his partner, 29, are going through a divorce, which has resulted in heated fights between the two.

Diop’s ex-partner allegedly claimed enormous sums of money during the divorce, which the former West Ham player refuses to pay.
According to La Depeche du Midi, Diop suggested the prospect of ‘absolutely getting rid of her’ after accusations were lodged against him last week.
It is also said that investigators had to wait until Diop departed London, where he now resides, before proceeding with the arrest.
According to the French daily, Diop has claimed that his threats were “not serious,” but he has confirmed some of the allegations leveled against him.
A local police official told The Sun that Diop, who used to play for Toulouse, was being held at the city’s Central Police Commission.
Following his £15 million move from West Ham, the centre-back signed a five-year contract with Fulham last summer.
Last season, he made 25 Premier League games for Fulham, helping them finish 10th.
‘We are aware of rumors originating from France this morning involving one of our players, Issa Diop,’ Fulham said in a statement. We are actively coordinating with the players’ agents to determine the facts.
