According to reports, Khloe Kardashian has been sued by a former household assistant who claims he was fired after returning from a leave of absence to recover from a leg injury, gistpeople reports

According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, the former assistant, Matthew Manhard, claims in his lawsuit that he began working for Khloe in 2019 before being fired in November 2022.
Manhard claims he informed Khloe, 38, that he was unable to work due to a knee injury sustained in May 2022. Manhard claims that when he attempted to return to work in November, he was instead fired.
Manhard also claimed that during his employment, he was frequently so preoccupied with completing tasks for Khloe that he was unable to take the legally required breaks.
This lawsuit comes just days after it was revealed that Khloe’s fashion line, Good American, was being sued as well.

Manhard also claims she avoided paying him overtime despite the fact that he frequently worked 12-hour days.
Khloe’s team has responded by denying Manhard’s claims.
‘It’s unfortunate that a former employee would choose to take this path. Khloe’s legal representative told TMZ that Matthew was properly classified and compensated for his role.
‘Toward the end of his employment, he was on a leave of absence for an extended period of time, and the role eventually needed to be replaced,’ the rep said of Manhard’s leave of absence. We will not tolerate false accusations and will demonstrate that this lawsuit is frivolous.’
Manhard is suing Khloe for monetary damages, claiming she violated numerous California labor laws.
