In Anambra state, a Nigerian woman known only as Blessing and her husband were arrested for reportedly abusing their 9-year-old housekeeper, Idinma.
On Friday, May 12, videos of Idinma with a swollen face and various body injuries surfaced online.
Nigerians took to social media to protest the couple’s actions after viral videos showed serious injuries inflicted on Idinma purportedly by the couple with whom she lives and helps to care for their kid.

According to accounts, the nursing mother, who gave birth to twins in March, allegedly gave the youngster the beating of her life after one of her kids, which she was clutching, fell.
Lord Zeus, who has been following the case, stated that among other things, Idinma was denied access to education because her benefactors prevented her from attending school. He revealed that Idinma is currently seeking medical attention for the injuries she got as a result of the assault on her by her benefactors.
