Following allegations that he sexually assaulted a lady in June, Conor McGregor will not face criminal prosecution.

The UFC champion was accused of assaulting a woman at the Kaseya Centre during an NBA Finals game. Conor has disputed the woman’s claim that he forced her to kiss her and conduct oral sex.

“After a thorough investigation, including a review of videos and interviews with eyewitnesses, the authorities have concluded that there is no case to pursue against my client, Conor McGregor,” Conor’s counsel told the Daily Mail.

This decision by the authorities, as expected, validates Mr. McGregor’s account of the evening.

“On behalf of my client, his family and his fans we are pleased this is now over.”

The alleged incident occurred during the Denver Nuggets’ game against the Miami Heat on June 9, the same night the 35-year-old punched a mascot to the floor in a stunt gone wrong.

The woman claimed she was leaving the arena when her security told her McGregor was waiting for her in the lavatory. However, he denied all allegations of any wrongdoing.
