The attorney for the anti-Tinubu traveller on an Abuja-Lagos flight revealed that on Monday, we will see charges brought against his client, Mr Obiajulu Uja, of Oji-River Local Government Area, Enugu State.

The prosecution of Uja, who the lawyer Ejike Ugwu claimed was mentally ill, was questioned.

The DPO stated that the man would be charged on Monday; we previously stated that the man was mentally sick. Have you examined him medically to determine whether he is sound enough to stand trial? What justifications support your charge? ”

It was earlier reported that Uja said Bola Tinubu’s inauguration on May 29 must never take place.

No fewer than six airport security personnel were seen removing him from the jet in a video that our correspondent was able to obtain. He had been holding the plane for more than an hour.

The traveller, a former bank employee from Lagos, had been in Abuja for a few weeks, according to Ugwu.

“Before he experienced certain health problems, the man worked at Zenith Bank. He has ejected from the Riz Continental Hotel in Abuja a few days ago due to his mental illness, the attorney continued.

He added that Uja had purchased three tickets for Lagos State on Friday, saying that when Uja arrived at the airport, he experienced problems with nearly all of the airlines before boarding Ibom Air.

“He told us that he wanted to advertise his products and that he was simply attempting to catch the attention of the passengers when he raised the problem that Asiwaju will not be sworn in,” Ugwu added when Ugwu asked him what had transpired.

You can see that he is not even a part of the Obedient movement if you look through his social media. But the man is mentally ill, to cut a long story short.

“The DPO confided in me that the man is not a regular person after he was arrested and after seeing reports in the media.

It’s just the system; I informed the DPO that, as an investigator, you do not even need a medical certificate from the man’s family to establish his mental health; instead, you should hire a psychiatrist to do it. But as I speak with you, I left the police station around 5 o’clock, and the DPO hasn’t shown up at the station today, he said.

The attorney continued, “I told the DPO that this individual needs medical attention right away to prevent the collapse of the entire system.

He has kidney issues, as seen by the bloated state of his legs. You can only look into a living person.

In the meantime, the passenger was turned over to the police, according to information released on Saturday by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria.

This was revealed to our correspondent in Abuja by Ms Faithful Hope-Ivbaze, the FAAN’s acting general manager of public affairs.

Moreover, Aniekan Essienette, Group Manager of Marketing and Media at Ibom Air, stated, “Once we turn him over to aviation security, it becomes their concern. The airport security evacuated him. If there are any additional instructions, we would therefore wait for them to contact us.

Ibom Airlines had already apologized to customers for the delay they had encountered while trying to get the individual off the plane.

In a statement, Essienette underlined that the airline jumped into the fray right away and, as a final resort, forced the customer off the plane.

The man doesn’t seem to be okay, according to Olumide Ohunayo, the Aviation Round Table’s assistant secretary general. They should have informed the crew that an angry passenger was boarding because he began misbehaving at the check-in desk, and he didn’t act normally when he was asked to depart the plane. Yet we must watch out for imitators.

The suspect would face criminal intimidation and public disturbance charges on Monday, according to the Nigeria Police Airport Command.

He’s with us, I was trying to confirm with the PPRO, the investigating police officer, Benson Okoh, stated. He will, however, face criminal intimidation and inciting public disorder charges in court on Monday.
