Christine Baumgartner, Kevin Costner’s former wife, reportedly wants him to pay roughly a quarter-million dollars each month to care for their three children.
In court records, Christine stated that it is the only option for her and her children to “live at a standard somewhat approaching the standard that the children will be enjoying while in Kevin’s care.”
She further stated that the funds are insufficient to meet their private school tuition, health care, and sports-related fees. Christine stated that Kevin will also be responsible for this.
Kevin’s tremendous riches, she claims, is more than enough to cover her wants, as his total income last year was $19.5 million.
Christine also mentioned that they take frequent travels to Hawaii, Aspen, and the Caribbean, where they frequently engage caterers and chefs to entertain their guests. She also said that the upkeep of their numerous houses is not inexpensive, costing around $2 million each year.

However, sources tell TMZ that Kevin is already covering all of the children’s costs. In addition to the expenses, Costner has filed legal documents stating that he is willing to provide an extra $38k every month.
He called his wife’s demands “highway robbery,” and claimed that they had nothing to do with child support.
Every day, the divorce becomes more complicated. Kevin recently filed court documents claiming Christine refused to leave one of his properties despite clear stipulations in their prenup requiring her to leave by a specified date after she filed for divorce.
While Christine claims she cannot afford to relocate, Kevin claims she has $1.45 million in her bank account, which is more than enough to rent an apartment.
