After being released from the hospital, American actor Jamie Foxx reportedly entered one of the country’s finest physical rehabilitation institutes.
According to TMZ, the actor has been receiving medical treatment in Chicago since April, just a few weeks after suffering a medical emergency.
Corinne and Anelise Foxx, his children, are claimed to be by his side in the rehabilitation center.
Jamie’s medical condition is unknown at this time, although the clinic is said to specialize in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury rehab, spinal cord injury rehab, and cancer rehabilitation.
According to an insider, the Oscar winner is “recovering well,” which Corinne confirmed last week while providing an update on her father’s health.
“update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild,” Corinne, 29, posted on her Instagram Story about her 55-year-old father. “My father has been out of the hospital for several weeks, recovering.”
Jamie, according to the actress, has been “playing pickleball” and staying active while undergoing therapy.
Her remarks came after Radar Online reported that Jamie’s family was “preparing for the worst” while the “Ray” actor recovered. Touré also claimed in a now-deleted Instagram post that he was “on Life Support in [the] ICU.”
