Meghan Markle, according to actor Brian Cox, is not as innocent as people believe.
The “Succesion” actor, who advocates for the monarchy’s abolition, accused Meghan Markle of marrying into the royal family as part of her life-long “ambitions” to find her real-life fairytale.
The Scottish actor accused the Duchess of being fully aware of the established “system” she became a part of and shouldn’t be surprised by the drama she’s sparked in an interview with Haute Living New York.
“You can’t just walk into a system where people have already been trained to behave in a certain way and expect them to cut themselves off,” he told the outlet.
She knew what she was getting herself into.”
Cox, a monarch abolitionist, believes the Sussexes, particularly Meghan, are not as innocent as the public believes.
Meghan “clearly” had a “ambition” when she married Prince Harry, according to the Emmy winner, and it may have sprouted early in her life.
“The childhood fantasies of marrying Prince Charming and everything else we see as fantasy that could be our lives in our dreams,” he contended.
Cox believes Harry and Meghan’s feud with the royal family is yet another reason why the monarchy should be abolished.

“I don’t think we should have a monarchy,” he said. “It’s not feasible; it makes no sense.
“F-k it, let’s move on.”
