Six people were killed in a fatal car accident on the Kano-Hadejia road in Jigawa State’s Taura Local Government Area, gistpeople reports

According to an eyewitness, the incident occurred on Thursday around 09:15 AM in Yan Fari village.
According to him, the victims were rushed to Ringim General Hospital for medical attention.
DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, Jigawa State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident to reports.
He stated that the incident occurred when a green Golf 3 wagon with registration number ABC 914 XB transporting four people from Kano to Hadejia collided with a Peugeot J5 carrying two people.
As a result, he explained, the Peugeot J5 was engulfed in flames and the occupants were burned to death, while the Golf 3 driver and his passengers suffered varying degrees of injuries.
Shiisu stated that the remaining victims were rushed to Ringim General Hospital for treatment.
He also stated that the Golf 3 driver and three passengers died while undergoing treatment.
Some of the deceased, he said, had yet to be identified by relatives, while the rest had been buried in accordance with Islamic teachings.
