A Nigerian woman died in the United States, and no one noticed for more than a week until neighbours reported a terrible odour coming from her flat in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
Uju Onyeyili, from Abatete in Anambra State, is claimed to have been in an accident two weeks ago and to have returned home after abandoning her car at the scene.
After noticing a bad odour emanating from Uju’s flat, neighbours called the police. They also said they hadn’t seen her in a week and that she needed to tow her car, which had been involved in the accident.
Police investigated and found her decomposing body at her home.
Unfortunately, no close relative of hers could be reached in the US, so her photo was shared online as the police asked family members to pick up her corpse or it would be disposed of by the state.
