In an interview with Bloomberg this week, Dimon stated that AI would be incorporated into every workflow, and that the technology is already being utilised by hundreds of his bank’s employees.

“Your children are going to live to 100 and not have cancer because of technology,” he said. “And literally they’ll probably be working three-and-a-half days a week.”

According to the research, which cites data from consultancy Evident, JPMorgan in New York advertised for more than 3,500 AI-related positions between February and April of this year. Dimon has been speaking about artificial intelligence.

“Technology has done incredible things for mankind, but, you know, planes crash, pharmaceuticals get misused — there are negatives,” Dimon said. “This one, the biggest negative in my view is AI being used by bad people to do bad things,” he added.
