A Russian woman is suspected of hiring an assassin to murder her children over their inheritance.
Last Monday, police in Krasnoyarsk, Russia’s second largest city in Siberia, detained a 67-year-old woman.
She is accused of ordering the murder of her son and two daughters in order to gain sole ownership of a family property.
She told a friend about her plan, who assisted her in finding a hitman, who was later paid 80,000, or slightly more than £810, to complete the job.

The retiree was detained outside her home last week, according to video released on Telegram by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
‘Do you know why you were detained?’ One of them approaches her on the street, handcuffing her.
The woman, astonished, responds, ‘No.’
Her alleged scheme was revealed on the day the hired killer was scheduled to kill one of her daughters.
Police released photos of the wads of cash she reportedly took out to make the payment.
According to a Russian Interior Ministry release, ’employees of the criminal investigation department of Russia’s Krasnoyarskoye Ministry of Internal Affairs seized a suspect in the murder of her children.
‘Operators got information that a resident of the regional center, born in 1956, ordered the murder of her son, born in 1978, and daughters, born in 1974, in order to remain the sole owner of real estate.’
