Kym Marsh reportedly divorced her third husband, Scott Ratcliff, just 18 months after they married.
According to The Sun, Kym, 46, and army major Scott, 34, divorced owing to work stress, but ‘cracks’ had been there in the relationship for some time.
According to reports, the couple attempted a trial separation due to the pressures of their employment before deciding to divorce.
While Kym lives in Cheshire, Scott is stationed in the south, making it difficult for the couple to spend quality time together.
According to a source, ‘they both sincerely tried to make it work, but the cracks have been there for a long and they were only getting to see each other for one or two days a week at the very most.’
‘They had a trial separation earlier this year and were hoping to get things back on track, but they’ve decided it’s better to go their own ways,’ they continued.
‘It’s really sad for everyone concerned, but they’ve decided it’s time to notify their family and friends and focus on the future – which means filing for divorce, which they’re hope will be as amicable as possible. Hopefully, time will help things heal.’
Kym previously married EastEnders actor Jack Ryder from 2002 to 2009 and Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas from 2012 to 2014.
In the year 2021, she married Scott. Following their wedding, Kym took to Instagram to pay tribute to her new husband, calling him the “love of her life.”
