Residents of Nakuru, Kenya, were surprised to learn that a heartbroken widow had kept her husband’s body inside her home for a week.
The anonymous woman from Molo in Nakuru County is claimed to be mentally ill, and people became suspicious after the male was absent for an unknown period of time.
While reporting the event, area chief Evans Oketch encouraged residents to be good neighbors. He stated;
“We should always know whereabout of each other and help each other in times of need.”
His body was uncovered by officers drawn from Molo Police Station and moved to the morgue. Police have sinced launched probe into the matter. The residents now await an autopsy to identify the cause of the man’s death.
