After her son reportedly attacked her, an Indiana mother was discovered with a knife jammed in her head.
He was treated in the hospital for minor hand wounds before being charged with attempted murder.
He also faces a charge of battery on an officer by bodily waste for reportedly spitting on a cop during his detention.
According to Brownsburg Police Cpt. Jennifer Barrett, Braun recently fled an Ohio mental health facility and has an arrest warrant out for him.
“The best we can tell is that he had left a facility, a mental health facility, where he was being monitored by Ohio parole officers,” Barrett explained.
“But he had cut that GPS monitoring device and left, and the last time they saw him was on March 23.”
She also stated that his mental health and temper difficulties were most likely factors in his alleged attack on his mother.
He is still being held in the Hendricks County Jail with no bond.
