Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory has started the structural integrity test on the buildings under construction in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
This was disclosed in a post shared on the agency’s Instagram account on Friday.
The test is coming after the seven-story building under construction collapsed on Wednesday on 1st Avenue, Banana Island, Lagos State.
The agency wrote, “Important information. Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory commences immediate Non-Destructive (structural integrity) Test of the adjoining buildings at the Banana Island building collapse site.
