Mr Macaroni, a well-known Nigerian content creator and activist, has advised Nigerian youths not to engage in tribal warfare.
This comes just hours after the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, hosted Macaroni and rapper Folarin Falana, known as Falz, and other key stakeholders in a meeting on Wednesday to address security concerns in the state ahead of the upcoming governorship election.
In a video posted on his Instagram page on Thursday, the comedian urged youths to unite and not cause intertribal strife over politicians who will always be friends.

“I know how some of you must feel, I know we are not happy with the way INEC conducted the elections in certain areas. However, the president-elect has been declared, and any dissatisfied candidate may file a lawsuit, but don’t let anyone use you. The youths must stick together.

“Don’t die for any politician, and don’t let any politician use you as a pawn. They are friends, and the youth have a say, but politicians will be politicians. “Anyone telling you as a Yoruba man to attack your Igbo brother or my Igbo brothers is telling you to attack Hausas, Yorubas, or any other tribe somewhere,” he said.
Recall that in November 2022, the comedian announced his support for the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, via his Twitter handle, ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
